Payment integrations fail in the gap between "the gateway says it worked" and "the order actually reflects it" — this kit closes that gap with an idempotent webhook handler shared across both Stripe and VNPay, keyed on each gateway's own transaction id so a retried webhook is a safe no-op instead of a duplicate charge. Both signature verification paths are implemented against the raw request body, not the parsed JSON, avoiding the re-serialization bug that silently breaks signature checks in hand-rolled implementations. Order status transitions are guarded (`pending → paid`, never `refunded → paid`), so an out-of-order webhook delivery cannot corrupt a settled order. Refunds and partial refunds are covered on both gateways, with the same audit trail pattern used for the original charge, so a support agent can see exactly what happened to an order without querying the gateway dashboard directly.
