Product details

Every TypeScript codebase past a certain size ends up writing the same handful of utility types from scratch: a `DeepPartial` for update DTOs, a branded-type helper so a `UserId` and a `ProductId` are not interchangeable even though both are strings underneath, and an exhaustiveness-checking function that turns a forgotten `case` in a switch statement into a compile error instead of a silent runtime gap. A `Result` type is included for places where throwing an exception is the wrong tool — expected, recoverable failures like validation errors — modeled as a return value the caller is statically forced to check, the same pattern Rust and functional languages use for exactly this reason. Every type ships with JSDoc explaining not just what it does but when to reach for it instead of a plain `Partial` or a thrown error, because the wrong utility type applied confidently is worse than no utility type at all.
